Nose : minerally, elegant and distinguished. Begins with sweet liquorice and a touch of tar, then builds with incense, toffee, heady flowers, bitter orange, apricot and tropical fruits (persimmon, guava). Flowers bloom with time in the glass. Lime blossom lifts the nose with subtlety and freshness.

Palate : complex and pronounced, it elegantly mirrors the nose. Like chewing on a liquorice stick from an old sweet shop, followed by bright lime blossom honey gradually coating the taste buds. The generous mid-palate is rich with chocolate, dried fruit (date, fig) and walnut. It lingers with soft touches of pepper and rancio notes of ripe red berries (strawberry, cherry), herbs and star anise.
