A MESCCIA Blended rum vieux

Born from a collaboration between the Principality of Monaco, Luca Gargano and Velier, A Mesccia reinterprets a historic Monegasque tradition of blending rum with fortified wines. Crafted from Mother Mesccia, a Haitian Pure Single Rum made from fresh sugar cane juice, it is aged for around one year in Monaco in casks that previously held Bordiga and Del Professore vermouths. Its aromatic and flavour profile unfolds with an elegant vegetal backbone, enhanced by notes of acacia honey, ripe apricot, orange peel and sweet spices, leading to a long, silky finish with a delicate bitterness reminiscent of vermouth.
