Du maïs, du maïs et encore du maïs. C'est ce qui m'a fait l'acheter, et ça correspond tout à fait au trip : un bourbon qui est aussi un pur corn whiskey, direct, doux et brutal à la fois, avec une finale qui rappelle celle, très particulière, du single malt Tomatin - pour ceux qui connaissent cette distillerie écossaise aussi discrète que brillante (parmi les malts connus, le Knockando serait celui qui lui ressemble le plus).
