The origins of Rémi Landier Cognac go back to the end of the 19th century, when Julien Girard (Rémi Landier’s grandfather) settled in Cors in the Fins Bois and planted his first vines in 1890. Aware of the uniqueness of their terroir and their eaux-de-vie, Rémi Landier and his sons created their eponymous brand of cognac in 1973. Being distillers for the major trading houses, they produce small quantities of bottles under their label, Rémi Landier, which has long remained the prerogative of connoisseurs

Nose : It opens with notes of mango and saffron, nectarine and sage, grapefruit and nutmeg. It has an almost mentholated freshness with fine notes of Moroccan mint and vanilla. It evolves into an impressive floral bouquet of rose and violet and a precise note of boxwood. The rare spices over time become more present.

Palate : Velvety, it is dominated by summer fruits (apricot, melon), exotic fruits (papaya, guava) also completed by spices and very dense herbaceous and floral notes.

Overall : Very long and fresh, and both fruity and spicy. Remarkable by the quasi absence of woody notes.
