Drawing on the expertise of David Wondrich, the New York Distilling Company's rye whiskey has been redistilled with juniper berries and hops, before being aged in oak barrels. The result is a gin worthy of the reputation of Gowanus, chief of the Canarsees tribe when the region was still under Dutch control.
