NINKASI Cuvée Printemps 2023

Founded in 1997, Ninkasi brewery - distillery is at the heart of the Rhône region. Winegrower and distiller, Alban Perret traveled this famous wine regions to meet his fellow winegrowers and select the best barrels to age the brand’s whiskies. Ninkasi’s single malts are distilled from the finest malted barley, combining its expertise as both a brewer and distiller with the treasures of the wine regions.
The new "Seasons" range provides an aromatic quest to reflect the differences between seasons as well as the influence of nature in the whisky.
For this first limited edition, Alban Perret, Ninkasi's master distiller, blended ex-Cognac casks with ex white wine barrels from the Cuilleron estate.
The result is a resolutely floral and fruity whisky, a tribute to the spring, with a fresh and floral first nose (honeysuckle, vanilla), followed by layers of juicy fruits (peach, lychee, apricot) and
pastry notes (flan, pound cake), warmed up at the end by elegant spicy notes (white pepper).
