Description
DOCK 2 is a pure malt whisky of Bordeaux origin: brewed, fermented, distilled in a local still, and aged in barrels coming exclusively from Bordeaux castles. This unique whisky is made from corn grown and malted in France. A 30-month maturation in Sauternes, and a 6-month maturation in barrels from Château Cantenac-Brown, located in Margaux in Gironde, will structure and sublimate this 100% Made In Bordeaux spirit. Bottled without any cold filtration. Natural coloring.
Tasting notes
Nose : The nose is generous and announces a whisky of great richness. We find notes of liquorice and roasted nuts as well as fruit notes (grape, blackcurrant, blackberry), accompanied by a touch of spices (pepper, star anise).
Appearance : La robe est d’un lumineux cuivré avec des reflets auburn. Des larmes de gras sont présentes et indiquent une distillation douce et méthodique respectant les caractéristiques de la matière première.
Palate : In the mouth, the smoothness is there, with complex and varied flavors: raisin, apricot, date, pecan. The influence of the barrels of the 2 appellations is felt with a touch of vanilla accompanied by a hint of black coffee at the end.
Overall : This whisky has a long and ample finish.
