Produced by Distilleria Montanaro in the heart of Piedmont, this 1964 vintage brandy is the result of the distillation of selected local wines and a remarkable ageing process lasting several decades in oak casks. This very long ageing in the Piedmontese climate gives it exceptional concentration, great aromatic complexity and the characteristic charm of the very finest spirits of yesteryear.

Nose : Deep and complex. Aromas of candied orange peel, dried fig, leather and fine oak, complemented by notes of pipe tobacco, earwax and roasted nuts.
Palate : Full-bodied, mellow and refined. The texture is silky, revealing flavours of noble rancio, bitter cocoa, prunes and sweet spices (cinnamon, cloves).
Overall : Extremely long and dry. The finish lingers with hints of cigar box, rancio and a subtle, elegant woody bitterness.
