KILCHOMAN Sanaig Cask Strength

Back, this time at 57.5% abv, Sanaig Cask Strength is the embodiment of a powerful sherry matured Islay single malt. A whisky for those who enjoy big flavours. Many will be familiar with Sanaig, our core range release, bottled at 46%. Sanaig Cask Strength follows the same cask recipe; predominantly sherry casks. However, rather than adding water to reduce the strength to 46%, the Cask Strength expression is bottled without dilution. The result is a bottling strength of 57.5% abv. "Cask strength whiskies have a magic about them. They have an ability to surprise you, to deliver flavour in a way which is entirely unexpected.” - Anthony Wills
