KILCHOMAN Sanaig

A blend of whiskeys from different origins. There are obviously whiskeys from Scotland, others from new distilleries in England and Germany, an experimental project in the United States and a rebellious maverick Irish producer. Here is a whiskey freed from any geographical constraint. Blended beyond borders. The result is a rich, textured whisky. Second permanent reference of the independent family farm-distillery Kilchoman, Sanaig has become, like its cousin the Machir Bay, a flagship product, which will delight lovers of sherry and peat, with 70% aging in oloroso sherry casks. and 30% in bourbon barrels. From this marriage results an intense peat and the characteristic citrus aromas of Kilchoman, sublimated by the notes of dried fruits, sweet spices and a certain gluttony on chocolate and caramel. Sanaig takes its name from a small cove located in the north of the island next to the distillery.
