GUYANA 32 ans Decadent Drams Decadent Drinks

This 32-year-old rum is a blend from Guyana. We were able to source small quantities of Enmore 1990 (40%) and Uitvlugt 1990 (60%), aged on the continent and stored outside the cask. We chose to blend them in a former rum cask for approximately ten months before bottling them at their natural strength. The result is a beautiful, pure example of the fully mature Guyanese pot still style: marked by notes of bread, medicinal notes, salt water, and marinade. Decadent Drinks is an independent bottler of whisky and other spirits. Angus MacRaild, also author of the WhiskySponge blog, is the founder. His philosophy is quality, pleasure, and simplicity. This quirky side is reflected both in his blog and on the labels of his bottlings, where the spongy character appears in many forms. These bottlings, mostly in single casks, are divided into different brands such as Spongeverse, Equinox & Solstice, Equilibrium, and NAS. The Spongeverse includes WhiskySponge, RumSponge, CognacSponge, ArmagnacSponge, and WineSponge.
