This year's summer edition of Equinox & Solstice features a vibrant and indulgent Glen Ord, distilled in 2017 and aged for eight years in two second-fill hogsheads. Bottled at the series' signature 48.5% ABV, it boasts a natural sweetness, a waxy Highland texture, and juicy fruitiness. Designed for its versatility: ideal neat, over a large cube of ice, or topped up with sparkling water for a summer highball. Decadent Drinks is an independent bottler of whisky and other spirits. Its founder is Angus MacRaild—also the author of the WhiskySponge blog. His philosophy is quality, fun, and not taking life too seriously. This quirky side is reflected both in his blog and on the labels of his bottlings, with the sponge character appearing in a wide variety of ways. These bottlings, mostly single casks, are divided into different brands such as Spongeverse, Equinox & Solstice, Equilibrium, and NAS.
