FRANGELICO

Made in Piedmont, Frangelico is a traditional caramel-coloured liqueur made from a variety of hazelnut called ‘Tonda Gentile’. A favourite among confectioners around the world, these hazelnuts are renowned for their sweetness. Legend has it that the famous monk and painter Fra Angelico distilled hazelnuts in alcohol before infusing the mixture with cocoa, orange blossom and vanilla pods.
