Florentis Tuscan Malt Whisky is part of the whisky series produced by the Chioccioli Altadonna family of Winestillery. The process includes six days of spontaneous fermentation, the use of a hybrid copper "Frilli" still, and a simple discontinuous distillation. The whisky is then aged in Tuscan oak barrels that previously contained high-quality Tuscan wine. Made with Italian barley, rye, and wheat, and enriched with water from the Sorgenti del Fiora, this whisky is produced in a climate where maximum temperatures reach 27°C and minimum temperatures drop to 14°C.
