Nose : The initial aromas evoke wild cherry, supported by dried rose and a hint of roasted hazelnut. Then comes roasted cocoa, whose scent of warm earth indicates controlled ageing in casks. A nose that imposes itself without raising its voice.

Palate : The attack is fresh, almost floral, before sliding into a full-bodied and caressing texture. Red fruits stretch out over notes of bitter chocolate and roasted hazelnut. Then black tea, dried fig and Agen prune express themselves in a new and comfortable light.

Overall : Long, salty and subtly tannic. The rose returns in an echo, mingled with notes of tonka beans and a subtle bitterness of black tea. A rare persistence, like a memory that refuses to fade.
