DISTILLERIE CAZOTTES 2016 Mauzac Rose

Mauzac Rose is our native grape variety grown on a plot conducted organic since its planting in 2001. It comes from a mass selection. He represents 1.7 ha of almost pure Mauzac Rose. To produce this water crystalline life, we leave the grapes on the vines until they be raisined on the stump - we expect the high concentration of sugar and full of autumnal aromas. At this time, our raisins are ready to start their natural fermentation. Our cellar is starting to fill up fermentative flavors of overripe raisins. The gentle extraction during distillation process flexibly treats the palate we result appreciate all the fruit concentration of the Mauzac Rose grape variety.
