Drawn from the small reserves of Spanish sherry casks at the Dailuaine distillery, the long maturation of this 21-year-old Dailuaine is unprecedented and brings robust, fragrant flavors, while creating a generous palate. Luxuriously nuanced and powerfully deep, it unfolds marbled notes of dried fruit, baked apple, and chili pepper on the tongue. This refined and intense Dailuaine is bursting with character: a superb example of a Speyside Single Malt aged in sherry casks, with remarkable depth, further enhanced by a drop of water.

Nose : Deep and intense, dry and spicy, immediately reminiscent of long aging in Oloroso sherry casks. Notes of raisins, roasted chestnuts, and dark chocolate-covered cherries evolve into impressions of liqueur chocolates.

Palate : Creamy and full-bodied, both smooth and lively, reminiscent of brown sugar in an espresso. It develops intense dried fruit and a marked peppery spice that spreads across the tongue.

Overall : Long and spicy, with notes of sweet ginger, a slight dryness and a mineral touch reminiscent of flint.
