Nose : Rich, complex. The nose is absolutely magnificent and reveals aromas of dark chocolate, slate, orange zest, ripe mango, incense, diesel, wax, wood polish, dried coriander, yellow peach, Russia leather, iodine tincture, dried apricot, grilled walnut and iris butter.

Appearance : Cuivre orangé soutenu.

Palate : Lively, well-rounded. Opening on empyreumatic notes of petrol, heady florals (geranium, vetiver), liquorice, herbal infusions (black tea), menthol, chocolate and abundant fruit (marmalade, persimmon), the palate gradually moves into notes of powdered cocoa and ginger, pine resin and honey (lavender, sugarcane). Little by little, a fine layer of soot covers the palate.

Overall : Layered, noble. Revealing aromas of sandalwood, incense and polished furniture, the finish introduces wonderful notes of decaying wood (rosewood). Elegant notes of praline, ripe mango, cocoa bean and Emery cloth bring the retro-nasal olfaction length and complexity.
