Distilled very slowly in order to extract the oils and oily matter contained in the barley as fully as possible, it is an authentic expression of the island’s soil and climate. Bottled at 50% without chill filtering, Islay Barley 2014 is characterised by notes of honey, heather, yellow and exotic fruit, and mild spices.
