DIMPLE

Dimple, the Diageo group’s emblematic luxury blend, was created in 1888 by one of the largest families of blenders of the time, the Haig family. Its easily-recognisable, three-faced bottle was introduced shortly afterwards, in 1893, by George Ogilvy Haig. In 1919, the first branch of the Haig family, represented by the John Haig & Co Ltd company, joined DCL (Distillers Company Limited). The second branch, Haig & Haig Ltd, followed suit in 1923, putting an end to the Haig dynasty forever.
