Distilled at Aultmore in 2008 and aged for 15 years in an ex-Sherry Butt, this single cask stands out with indulgent aromas of chocolate and winter spices, mingled with notes of dried fruits. The Single Malts of Scotland offers a range of superb vintage single malts from Scotland. Each edition is carefully selected from the casks of Elixir Distillers from the six whisky-producing regions of Scotland. Only those casks deemed to have reached the necessary quality, and character will be bottled under The Single Malts of Scotland name. To ensure that each of these whiskies retains its aromas and character, they are not cold-filtered, and no coloring is added.
