Nose : the undiluted nose is deep and well-rounded. Salted caramel and chocolate combine with honeyed barley and rich sherry notes.

Palate : soft, sweet and oily. The initial sweetness, which reveals hints of fruitcake and molasses, makes way for bbq smoke and a touch of salinity.

Overall : a long, enduring with honey and molasses rounded off with a welcome dryness.
