COCKTAIL BITTERS: Angostura Orange Bitters is an aromatic bitter from Trinidad and Tobago.
PROFILE: This aromatic bitter displays a powerful and herbaceous profile, featuring notes of orange peel, cardamom and coriander. It is produced through the maceration of various botanicals in an alcoholic base, including orange peels harvested by hand during the wet season.
DID YOU KNOW? Angostura's oversized label was born from a mistake in 1870: the bottles and labels were ordered without checking the dimensions, accidentally creating this legendary look.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: This aromatic bitter is used in dashes or a few drops for making cocktails, and works perfectly in an old fashioned or a manhattan.
