Brotherly and traditional gin is distilled at the foot of the lighthouse of Ciboure, in the heart of the Basque Coast.
The project of two brothers, to highlight the botanicals of their Basque land, so rich and so little exploited. Here they use wild eucalyptus, which brings a lot of freshness to the nose, and lemon verbena for the citrus notes on the palate, both harvested by hand in their mountains.
Their distillation is meticulous and artisanal, like all Dry Gin, they start with a neutral alcohol, of agricultural origin.
A slow and regular heating by water bath allows them to gently extract the juniper aromas.
They have added several botanical baskets to the circuit of their still. This allows them to take advantage of different infusion temperatures according to the botanicals in order to extract the best.
The bottling, labelling and numbering is obviously done by hand.
This gin is meant to be shared, enjoy it with family and friends and enjoy.

Closer to the producer

Anaiak, which means "brothers" in Basque, is a London dry gin that lives up to its name. Produced by Rémy and Boris Harretche, two gin enthusiasts, this "fraternal and artisanal" distillery was founded four years ago in Ciboure, in the heart of the Basque Country. The two brothers aimed to bottle the aromas of their terroir, crafting a recipe that
features 100% Basque botanicals, all locally sourced. With their craft gin, they also prioritize short supply chains and regional partners, contributing to the local economy and promoting the "made in France" ethos. This shared pride is truly palpable.
