WATERFORD SFO Sheestown Edition 1.1

This first edition of Ballykilcavan has been distilled from barley grown by Phil O'Brien on well-drained, low-lying limestone soil in the Kilkenny region, which is highly suitable for this type of crop. Distilled in 2016, bottled at 50%, without colouring or chill filtration, this 100% Irish Single Malt develops a strong spicy character, complemented by sweet notes of poached pear, fresh honey and orange marmalade. A highly original and surprisingly well-balanced edition for its young age.
