Located on the western edge of the Speyside near the town of Nairn, Royal Brackla is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland. In 1833, it was the first to receive a “Royal Warrant of Appointment” from King William IV. The warrant was renewed five years later by Queen Victoria. These credentials are found at every stage of the tasting of this extremely complex yet disconcertingly approachable release. Lush, remarkably deep, it relies on malted barley to fully express all the extroverted facets of its character, giving it a unique charm that is impossible to resist.
