Rémi Landier XO is a delicate, generous cognac. It is what is called a cognac “Fins Bois” which means it has been aged for at least 20 years in French oak barrels. Very fruity, it presents notes of spices, oranges and violets.

Nose : elegant and charming, it opens with notes of exotic fruit (passion fruit, mango) and flowers (chrysanthemum, roses, violets). It then evolves towards dried fruit (raisins, dates), apricots, blackberries and watermelon. A hint of smoke. Sweet spices, honey and vanilla complete the picture.

Palate : distinguished, with several layers of flavour. It keeps its fruity character with a noticeable presence of spices (nutmeg, curry). Generous notes of liquorice indicate maturity, complemented by vanilla, walnuts and pipe tobacco from the slow ageing process.

Overall : long and fresh, with candied stone fruit (juicy apricots), walnuts and spices.
