Drawn from a single second-fill sherry cask (number 645), this expression of the much sought-after single malt from the closed Port Ellen distillery was bottled without reduction and without chill filtration. With an alcohol content that is still high, yet after 25 years of maturation, it is nonetheless a very well-balanced whisky whose notes of sea salt, smoke and seaweed are perfectly integrated.
