PENDERYN Moscatel Wine Finish

Specially designed for Penderyn, the Faraday pot stills topped with a distillation column give rise to a “new make” of great purity of expression, running at 92%. In barely twenty years, the single malt produced by this distillery has earned such credentials, thanks in particular to magnificent releases bottled at natural strength. Exceptional, this Penderyn finished in casks that held Moscatel wine is of that calibre. Extending the tasting indefinitely, several hours later the dry extracts of the empty glass even constitute the fourth stage of an extraordinary aromatic and flavour adventure that leads us almost physically into the distillery's private warehouse.
