Watatsumi refers to the god of the sea in ancient Japanese mythology. Worshipped as the deity who rules the ocean and ensures both safety and abundant harvests from the sea, Watatsumi symbolizes an essential presence when enjoying seafood. This blend is based on a rich, full-bodied Junmai brewed using the yamahai method, combined with a clean, dry Junmai and a rare aged Junmai made with black koji. The result is a sake of depth and character—perfectly suited to accompany ocean-inspired cuisine.
