Zetwal, meaning ‘stars’ in Creole, refers to the ancient navigational markers used by sailors to transport rum. It's also a nod to the ship, the emblem of the family distillery in Martinique, Neisson. Bottled in a magnificent crystal decanter, Sirius, Zetwal's second edition after Polaris, is a blend of old vintages distilled between 2000 and 2013, reserved for Neisson's prestigious Armada collection. Remarkably deep and elegant, its aromatic palette immediately sets the tone for an enchanting tasting experience. Its particularly elegant, abundantly fruity palate takes on splendid autumnal colours, highlighting its dazzling maturity.

Nose : Full-bodied. Apricot, finely caramelised, exotic (persimmon), citrusy (orange) and infused (sage, thyme), the aromatic palette explores many olfactory regions. With aeration, it becomes increasingly medicinal (tiger balm), camphorated and heady (lily, hyacinth, geranium).

Appearance : Vieil or à reflets cuivrés

Palate : Lively and suave. A blend of lime, dried fruit (fig, date), candied orange and cocoa, the palette of flavours is resplendent with maturity. It then evolves towards powdery (ginger) and praline notes. Gradually, flavours of cinnamon, precious wood and pine resin highlight its noble expression.

Overall : Long and fluffy. First, warm cane sugar, geranium and heather honeys create smooth, heady sequences of flavours. Then, intense flavours of sugar cane take centre stage.
