MOUNT GAY Single Estate SES 25_04

In 2015, Mount Gay purchased 324 acres of what were the historic Mount Gay and Oxford estates. This marked the first time since the 19th century that Mount Gay controlled every step of its rum-making process as a fully integrated operation, from soil to sip. The Single Estate series embodies the essence of Barbados, celebrating our island's rich heritage and mastery in rum production. Master Blender Trudiann Branker carefully guides the spirit of the Single Estate series. This fourth edition, 25_04_Vt19dp, also known as SES 25_04, is being launched in 2025. This exceptional release comes from the 2019 sugarcane harvest, which was then aged for 5 years in ex-Bourbon Quercus alba white oak barrels. Bottled at 55% ABV, SES 25_04 is a compelling blend of two distinct 100% pot still distillations combined into a single, unique expression.
