MILHOC Première Flamme

The character of MilHòc whisky comes from its mash bill, made of 54% corn and 46% French malted barley. The mash is slowly distilled in our traditional copper Armagnac column still, using continuous distillation; this allows for a precise process while capturing the many congeners of the wash. The distillate comes off the still at 61% ABV, much lower than what is usually obtained through double distillation in Scotland. It is therefore filled into casks “straight from the still”.
