BERTOLA Amontillado

This sherry wine originated at the former Bodegas Bertola, established in 1919. It is initially fortified to 15% alc. and aged under flor, giving it a crisp freshness, as well as sweet yeast and fruit notes. During a second phase of oxidative ageing, the wine evolves towards aromas of vanilla, nuts, spices and oak, with a colour that evolves from pale yellow to amber. The wine's strong personality is well suited to a wide variety of dishes: smoked meats, mature cheeses, cured ham, spicy dishes, or vegetables such as asparagus and artichokes.
