LEJAY Bitters Cassis

Lejay Lagoute, the creator of the Crème de Cassis in 1841, has released the very first Bitter de Cassis. The blackcurrant-flavoured bitters was developed according to the treatise of the Abbot of Montarand, who in 1712 was the first to discover blackcurrant's admirable properties and its pharmaceutical and nutritional virtues. He encouraged using infusions made from blackcurrant leaves, which have a very bitter taste. The spirit is made from infusions of blackcurrant berries, blackcurrant buds and plant extracts._x000D_
