Closed in 1975, the Ledaig distillery reopened in 1990 under the name Tobermory. Since 1993, it has produced two single malts: Tobermory (unpeated) and Ledaig (peaty and smoked). Thanks to the latter, the distillery has revived a style of yesteryear imbued with interlaced smoky notes coated in sherry.
