KOPKE Fine Ruby

Founded in 1638, Kopke is the oldest Port wine house. Kopke Fine Ruby embodies the traditional style of Ruby Port, known for its fresh and vibrant character, with a focus on red fruit and black berries. These wines are best enjoyed in their youth, when their freshness and fruit-forward character are at their most expressive. Made using traditional Port wine methods, it is aged for at least three years in stainless steel vats and wood, preserving its freshness and fruity expression while developing greater aromatic depth. Deep ruby in colour with garnet hues, it reveals an expressive nose marked by fresh red fruit. On the palate, it is vibrant, generous and well-balanced, with lively acidity, supple tannins and bright fruit flavours. Its long, harmonious finish extends this fresh and fruity profile. Best served slightly chilled, between 12 and 14°C, it is an excellent match for appetisers, terrines and poultry, as well as red fruit desserts.
