A single refill hogshead of heavily peated Knockdhu which we bottled with quite significant reduction to 55%. This is an extremely and singularly peaty whisky. Ashy, smoky, citric, drying, mineral, pure and vibrant. Like sipping new make petrol! One for peat freaks. Decadent Drinks is an independent bottler of whisky and other fine spirits. Angus MacRaild - also author of the WhiskySponge blog - is the founder. His philosophy is quality, fun and not taking life too seriously. This quirky side can be seen both in his blog and on the labels of his bottlings with this sponge character in a wide variety of styles.
