KARUKERA L'Expression 45

The L'EXPRESSION collection once again demonstrates the expertise of the Cellar Master and the innovative spirit of the Karukera rum distillery in creating exceptional rums. Based on L'Expression Brut de fût, the L'Expression 45 edition reveals the aromatic power of this agricultural rum, with a completely new harmony of aromas thanks to this slightly reduced alcohol version. Matured first in new French oak barrels, then in ex-Cognac barrels to give it roundness, L'Expression 45 was slowly diluted before bottling to 45% alcohol for a smoother attack on the palate and an elegant palette of aromas revealing notes of ripe banana and coconut, enhanced by aromas of roasted cocoa and precious woods. Behind its sumptuous amber colour, it displays a particularly pleasing combination of harmonious roundness and intensity, leaving a refreshing sensation on the palate. Limited edition of 4250 bottles
