OUR GIN

The character of our gin is based first and foremost on the precise combination of herbs, plants and spices that we have created. Whether they come from Brittany, Europe or Asia, these "botanicals" have been rigorously selected from producers and suppliers who are all certified in Organic Agriculture. After prior maceration of some of them in a neutral grain alcohol of the highest quality, the whole is distilled in small copper stills specially designed for the occasion. A delicate heating in a water bath for several hours is necessary to obtain the best distillate.

For this first edition, we have selected 17 botanicals: juniper berries and coriander seeds have been used as the base, along with distant spices and aromatics (cardamom, cubeb pepper, Ceylon cinnamon, nutmeg, etc.), plants and flowers traditionally used in Breton pharmacopoeia (liquorice, angelica, elderberry, etc.), as well as lemon and bitter orange peel and a hint of fresh ginger.

Tasting notes: A purely aromatic and powerful "London dry gin" in which the expressive juniper combines wonderfully with the warmth and complexity of the spices, tempered by the sweetness of the plants and the touch of freshness provided by the citrus notes.
