Frus Rosso 2019 is the fruit of an assemblage of two typically Friulian red varieties: tazzelenghe (80%) and schioppettino (20%), both grown on a one-hectare parcel of old vines planted over fifty years ago. Destemmed and spontaneously fermented in stainless steel vats, the two varieties are then assembled, and aged in casks of Slavonian oak for two to three years.
