FRUS 2018 Monico - Blanc

This cuvée is the result of an assemblage of four varieties (pinot blanc, müller-thurgau, malvoisie, and verduzzo), companion planted and cultivated on the same parcel for over half a century. The pinot blanc is fermented in wooden vats with a short skin-contact maceration period, the müller-thurgau and malvoisie are fermented in concrete vats without maceration, whereas the verduzzo is fermented in glass tanks, also without maceration. The assemblage is aged in concrete vats, then bottled.
