Drumshanbo Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey Tawny Port Expression is a special, very limited edition produced at The Shed Distillery. Every drop of this whiskey is carefully distilled in PJ Rigney's distillery using Irish malted barley, Irish unmalted barley and Irish oats. This edition is then aged in tawny port casks and bottled non-chill-filtered and without colorants.
Nose : Warm aromas of almonds and walnuts with more concentrated notes of red fruit and toffee.
Palate : Ripe cherries, apricots and crème brulée with a hint of spice. Complex mouthfeel that coats the entire palate
Overall : Spicy notes remain, replaced by delicate notes of nougat and candied fruit, all balanced voluptuously.
