ISAUTIER
During the reign of King Louis-Philippe I of France, Louis and Charles Isautier crossed the oceans from mainland France to settle on Réunion Island. They were captivated by the island and its treasure: sugarcane. Passionate about this plant, they acquired land to cultivate carefully selected cane used to produce their family rum.
In 1845, Louis and Charles Isautier founded the family company that still bears their name today; six generations of Réunion natives have since carried on their legacy. Perfectly balanced, Isautier aged rums reflect a unique style: fresh, fruity, delicately woody, with subtle hints of sea spray.
The rums are column-distilled and aged in a cellar in fine-grained French oak barrels, specially crafted for the Isautier House, for a minimum of three years. Cold filtration preserves all the organoleptic qualities of their rums.
