This calvados Comte Louis de Lauriston is the illustration of the terroir of Saint-Fraimbault: granite and schist soil. The Normandy climate of this terroir is temperate with a continental tendency. The juice is based on 60% perry pears and the distillation is in column. It is a calvados of one piece, typical of the old vintages of Domfrontais combining acidity, power and rectitude. Aromas of caramelized pear stand out on tasting.
