A blend of eaux-de-vie aged between 12 and 20 years, François Voyer Napoléon is a full-bodied, floral, fruity, complex and elegant cognac. The eaux-de-vie are distilled on the lees and aged in medium toast new Limousin oak casks for 3 years, then in barrels in a damp cellar. The reduction with distilled water is carried out gradually (maximum reduction of 5% per operation every 6 months to 1 year) using the "faibles" technique - which consists of ageing the reduction water in casks - in order to achieve maximum finesse and complexity.
Nose : très floral (rose, jasmin, œillet) et fruité (pêche, prune). Son long vieillissement lui a donné un parfum vanillé et un début de suave parfum qui caractérise les vieux cognacs.
