This Bunnahabhain, distilled in 1989, was aged for 34 years in a hogshead cask before being bottled at its natural strength of 47.3%. This Islay whisky reveals Built in 1881 at the height of the Scotch whisky boom, Bunnahabhain is located in the north-east of Islay. Its distilling room houses two magnificent pear-shaped stills from which it produces a heavy spirit that is generally not very peaty. Connoisseurs Choice is undoubtedly the oldest of the trading ranges. Reviewed and modified several times since its creation, this range has preserved all its quality and essence. Nose : Rich orange oil infused with freshly cut grass and green apple. Salty lemons develop, accompanied by grapefruit and mature oak.

Palate : Pineapple and citrus combine with coconut. Roasted peanuts and sweet white chocolate give way to a subtle herbal touch.

Overall : A full, long finish with lingering spices and lemon peel.
