BUFFALO TRACE Single Oak Bourbon

The Single Oak Project is an exciting experiment which will create hundreds of Buffalo Trace whiskey recipes in order the find the best style of production. It consists of the following factors; • Two mash bills (rye and wheat-led)• Two fill strengths (52.5% and 62.5%) • 192 single barrels made out of 96 oak trees cut into two sections • Staves seasoned in a number of ways for 6 to 12 months, charred using two separate methods • Aged in two different styles of warehouse (wood and concrete) Each barrel is numbered and the details of each bottle can be viewed on www.singleoakproject.com.
