Nose : rich, unctuous. Opening on tropical (pineapple, coconut) and floral (lily, hyacinth) registers, the nose is dominated by the aromas of a rich, oily, salty and mineral peat. Quickly, however, rubber, intense malt and medicinal (mustard, ointment) notes bring out a rather phenolic character.

Palate : full-bodied, elegant. At first revealing a maritime and iodine character, the palate hands over to a drier, more vegetal and menthol peat. This is followed by a fresh transition to grapefruit and coconut milk flavours. Unexpectedly we then suddenly find ourselves in tropical lands (lychee, pineapple).

Overall : stately and balanced. Revealing the same maritime, iodine and oily peat, the finish gradually moves into notes of cut hay, lucerne and straw. The retro-nasal olfaction brings balsamic (pine, eucalyptus) and empyreumatic (rubber, tarmac) and medicinal notes, noble spices (cardamom), camphor and ash.
