Only 164 bottles were produced from a single hogshead of Benriach single malt Scotch whisky, which was aged for more than 34 years. Only exceptional whiskies are selected by our Director to be bottled for this exclusive series from The Single Malts of Scotland. Each bottling is aged to perfection, celebrating both the classic characteristics of the distillery and the subtle changes created by time and oak.

Color : Ambrée

Nose : Warm custard with nutmeg over poached apples, followed by orange oil and honeysuckle with warm toffee. With time, light ginger, nutmeg, cake batter and vanilla bean paste develop.

Palate : Full, with an almost juicy quality, which carries an initial sweetness of plentiful vanilla and light honey. Strawberry essence with mint leaves is followed by baked pears and apples, which build in the back with a final hint of black pepper and salted caramel.

Overall : Elderflower syrup and tarragon, with a resurgence of the orange oil.
